This behavior chart can be used all week long! At the start of each week, the student selects a prize that he/she wants to work for. The teacher will decide how many smiley faces the student needs to earn in order to get their selected prize. The teacher can also customize how to break down the school day into windows of time.
I have used this as an intervention with my more troublesome students and have seen wonderful results! Whenever I put an "X" in a specific time slot, I sometimes will put a short note about what the student was doing to not earn that smiley face. I LOVED the convenience of not having to copy a new behavior chart for each day! At the end of the week, I filed the chart into the students' behavior folder for my records.
Ideas for rewards include: sitting in a special seat, getting a prize from the treasure box, writing in pen, having lunch with the teacher, or sitting with a stuffed animal.
Ideas for skills to improve on include: follow directions, respect others, use an appropriate voice level, stay in my seat, or keep my hands to myself.
**Teachers could also decide to use this chart for each student, depending on your classroom's needs.
