Do you use a weekly Parent Communication Folder in your class? Would you like to improve school-home communication and easily update parents on their child's academic progress and behavior? Then this is a MUST-HAVE! This single sheet document can be used for 6 weeks of communication between home and school and can be filled-out in seconds.
Easily attach this document to the front or inside of a Parent Communication Folder or envelop and send home to update academic progress and inform parents of classroom behavior. Parents sign the form and return each week.
Form includes simple boxes to be checked to inform parents of student missing or incomplete classwork, homework, or tests. Also included are boxes to notify parents that important forms such as a progress report or citation is included in the folder for the week. This eliminates the chance of a student "losing" these forms between school and home;)
Use the behavior section to show parents how their child behaved during the week. I use a color (green, yellow, red) system in my classroom on my behavior chart. I purchase inexpensive green, yellow, and red stars or smiley face stickers to place in that box to show parents their child's average behavior for the week. Students enjoy seeing their "green" stickers when they earn it!
The file contains both a PDF and editable word file. Easily customize the sheet by adding your class name, weekly dates, and even typing in student names at the bottom. It makes for a very organized and professional-looking form and it only need be copied once every 6 weeks (yes!).
