Do you want to simplify the Bell Ringer process? Each Monday, my students get a new bell ringer sheet (usually printed on neon colored paper, but any paper will be acceptable). Students complete a simple checklist, write the question, answer it, and then "predict" their behavior for the day. The student is responsible for keeping up with the bell ringer sheet. I collect them on Fridays. I use this sheet in my 8th grade Social Studies class, but it will work in all types of classrooms.
