After months of feeling like I was either never cleaning or always cleaning, I’ve finally found a system that really works for me! Having specific areas/tasks to do each day kept me organized and on top of things. I loved checking off each day – it’s a clear picture of my goal being met every single day.
Each day of the week I have a specific room or area that I clean. Note: I do Monday-Friday and then use the weekends for special projects and hanging with my family. Saturday and Sunday I keep the house tidy, but don’t do anything specific (unless my toddler decides to stick her hair brush in the toilet and “mop” with it!). After I have cleaned the designated area I check off the date. At the bottom of the calendar I have everyday tasks that I do to stay on top of things around the house as well as a list of bigger projects that change month to month. I have also included a Monday-Sunday calendar option.
Note: the font I used for the cleaning tasks is KG Part of Me. You can download it for free here: KG Part of Me (Dafont). Once installed, restart PowerPoint to update your font menu.
