1 Week of Daily Reviews & Assessment
This is a great product to use after you have ended a fraction unit, but want to review a few questions about equivalent fractions, fractions on a number line, writing whole numbers as fractions, and measuring objects to the nearest ½ inch. I use it as a math warm-up to begin my math block each day. On Friday, students take a quick 5-question assessment to determine their mastery of the standards covered that week.
One of the test questions that always stumps my 3rd graders, is one I like to call the “equivalent fraction in disguise” question. The answer choices do not contain the obvious choice, because they want the student to identify the answer choice that is equivalent to the picture or point on a number line. It’s the multiple choice formatting that usually tricks my kids. I hope you find this week-long activity helpful. Be on the lookout for more weekly warm-up activities & assessments from TK Resources!
