Easily track growth mindset data with this Grade Log! Teachers can use the templates to track all of their student's grades or assessment scores and keep it in their digital teacher binder. Students and parents can also use it to track their own progress in each class. Print it at the end of the week, month, quarter, or year for a tangible Weekly Grade Sheet!
Version 1 of the spreadsheet is based on a "90-100% A" scale. It colors the cell GREEN for A's and B's, YELLOW for C's and D's, and RED for F's. I use mine on a weekly basis during Adviser/Advisee time to help facilitate discussions about grades with my students, as well as during Parent Teacher Conferences.
Version 2 allows the teacher to enter student grades on a weekly basis. Excel will then generate an arrow based on the students' growth. If the student's grade went down by more than 2% a RED DOWN arrow will appear, if it goes up or down by 2% a YELLOW RIGHT arrow will appear, and if it goes up by more than 2% a GREEN UP arrow will appear.
This Excel file includes an explanation on how to use, a sample class set of data, and the template itself.
