These are summary pages that I actively use in my middle school English Language Arts classroom. They are designed to work for any secondary level subject, though.
I use this summary page to informally plan my lessons for the week. Sometimes I type them, but more often, I write them in with a bright ink pen during PLC meetings. My local copy shop will spiral bind any pages for about $5, even if I copied the pages at school. I use this file, my monthly planning pages, and several other documents to form my yearly teacher notebook.
There is room on each day for the student-empowering “I Will” statements, as well as the daily Introduction, Practice, and Assessment. Lastly, there is space to note any differentiations or special events for the day that will need atypical considerations during that lesson. This is NOT my complete lesson plan format - it is simply a way for me to fit the week’s priorities on one page!
These pages also help during end of year evaluations because I am able to demonstrate my interactions with the curriculum from both process and reflective standpoints.
