The Weekly Progress Report works with pretty much any large student-centered project, business, or campaign.
I first used it when I was the Yearbook Advisor. Since then I’ve used it when facilitating various promotional campaigns with my marketing students. However, it could be used to facilitate tasks for a school based enterprise or projects for DECA, BPA, and FBLA!
No matter what you’re using it for, it helps keep students accountable for class time. In addition, it helps keep the focus on overall goals. For every task they complete, they have to link it to one of the overall goals.
Note: If you are using it for Yearbook, check out the Positions Descriptions for Yearbook Staffers - it really helps to make sure students know what is expected of them from the start!
