This is five weeks worth of weekly reading logs to use as homework or in class independent work to keep your students accountable for their independent reading. NOTE: this is a separate set than my other larger collection. Combine with other set to cover your entire school year! Practice skills being taught in class for both fiction and nonfiction texts. There are two weeks of fiction, two weeks of nonfiction, and 1 week of both combined. I've also included the standards covered and tips for how to use these in class. I've saved this as a PDF document so you need Adobe. I've included cute graphics as well. It's easy to follow and will be perfect for your students to respond after their nightly reading or in class reading. I've included making inferences, giving opinions, text structures, using text evidence, new words, key terms, and many more. Lots of "make you think" fun type questions to get your students thinking and making connections. Keep it fun, and change them up each week. I have many more sets available in my store as well. I like to use a different one each week to keep them fresh. I use nonfiction logs when we are heavily focused on informational texts.
