Feedback from Teachers:

✏️ "I love these. They are just what I was looking for. I also love that the look is "grown up" and clean. The variety is perfect, and the ability to address both nonfiction and fiction in the same document is awesome! It has been worth every penny!"

✏️ "I was looking for a nightly reading log that allowed for student accountability, but was more than just a sign and return form.  And, if possible, it would have skill-based activities that my students could work on independently at home.  This wonderful resource meets all those criteria.  I love how this varies every week.  Thank you so much."

✏️ "Love this! This changed our homework program for the better. Parents and students are so happy."

✏️ "LOVE this resource. I used it all year, and it was nice to align it to whatever we were covering in class. Students also liked that they had the option to create their own entry."

✏️ "Exactly what I was looking for!!!! Thank you so much for creating these. So easy to use, yet challenge my students to dig deeper when reading."

Reading Logs for Homework | 3rd Grade

Need to assign reading homework, but want to engage students with choice? This weekly homework reading log resource is for you! It provides you with 36 weeks of grade-appropriate reading homework logs full of questions from every reading standard for literature and informational text.

✔ Each reading log contains ten questions - four are for fiction texts, four for nonfiction, one reflection question, and one free choice option. No two logs are the same.

✔ After completing their independent nightly reading, students choose a question that best fits their books and respond in the space provided. They are encouraged to choose a different question each night so that they work on multiple reading skills throughout the week and all standards throughout the year.

✔ This resource provides you with an entire year’s worth of NO PREP reading homework. All you have to do is print! PLUS – just in case you want to change something – an editable Google Doc is included so that you can edit the text to your heart’s content.

Reading Comprehension Task Cards | 3rd Grade

This resource contains nearly 300 task cards covering all third grade reading standards for literature and informational text. That's easily enough task cards to last all year long. These Reading Comprehension Task Cards provide students with meaningful skill practice while keeping them accountable for their independent reading.

✔ After reading during center, partner, or independent work, students choose cards that are appropriate for their books and complete responses to “show what they know.” The cards cover fiction, nonfiction, and reflection topics and can be used with any text.
