Product Description
I use warm ups every day to start my science classes. I use this warm to introduce and review minerals with a short activity at the beginning of every day. Students learn about the characteristics of minerals, and how they are identified. It introduces, reinforces, and reviews what we are learning in class each day. On Fridays, a picture is shown on the Smart Board. This week’s picture is a glacier. Students make observations, inferences, and predictions about the picture. Included in this warm-up is a warm-up for interactive notebooks, a Picture of the Week about a glacier, and an answer key.
