Students use the website, Wonderopolis, to find an article that interests them. Then they read the article and summarize it using the 3-2-1 strategy in the online notebook. When finished, students edit and grade themselves using the included rubric! This is a great way to get students using technology to improve their typing and self-assessment strategies! Two sample entries are included to go over how to use a rubric with students.
You can share the Google Slides using Google Classroom (make sure to select the "Make a Copy for Each Student" option) or use the PowerPoint included. Both forms are editable to suit your teaching needs!
