Product Description
Weekly Writing organized from Brainstorming to Final Copy.

This packet is designed to be used for a week. I assigned it as homework on Monday, Final Copy due on Friday.

I have included the following steps:
Monday - Brainstorming
Tuesday - Prewriting (2 options, you choose which one you like best)
Wednesday - Rough Draft (broken down into Topic Sentence-Juicy Details-Closing)
Thursday - Final Copy (2 options)
I have also included an Editing checklist.

Weekly Writing is something I assigned each week in my third grade classroom beginning in January. It is designed to be written over the week with a complete paragraph due on Friday. I sent it as homework, but it could certainly be used as an in-class assignment.

This topic is Goals.

What are your goals for the remainder of the school year?
Is there an area you would like to focus on? Staying organized? More attention to detail? Spending more time on homework? Reading? Math? Math fact practice? Writing?
Is there something you focused on this year and you feel like you really improved? How did you do it? What are your plans for the rest of this year?

Enjoy - Ann
