This packet is designed to benefit both you and your students. The more information you can gather about your students in the first days of school, the better off you will be; and the more your students know about your classroom and school, the better off they will be! Below, you will find a brief description of each page in this packet. All pages are provided in color and in black and white for easy printing. I hope you enjoy them!
"All About Me" - On this page students share information about their birthdays, families, general preferences, and have an opportunity to tell the teacher something about themselves. (I like to keep this information to help me choose student rewards throughout the year.)
"My Goals This Year" - Students use this page to set goals for every subject as well as behavior. It is a great opportunity for an introduction to student conferencing!
"What I Want to Be" - Students draw a picture of themselves as they want to be when they grow up. They are also provided with space to explain why this vision appeals to them.
"Classroom Procedures" - I am a huge fan of using more procedures and less rules! The procedures listed on the first procedure page are ones that I teach my students every year. I have included a blank page for you to add your own procedures. Check out my blog where I explain each of my procedures included here!
"Find Someone Who . . ." - This back to school favorite Bingo style game is always a hit!
"All About My School" - During this activity students take a tour of the school and find out answers to questions that many new students have about their school.
