This is a March themed lesson for lower elementary school students (K-3). Students will learn about MARCHES, John Phillip Sousa, and follow a listening map with movements. They will also learn about the terms “in like a lion, out like a lamb,” and forte and piano sounds. Since St. Patrick’s Day is a big part of March, they will learn about both marching band instruments and Irish instruments!
