Create a wonderful class book with your students to go along with the story Pete The Cat Rocking In My School Shoes! Just print the cover, add a photo of your students' (and maybe some adults'!) shoes and have your students write their name. Finally, you can cover up the name with the paper "who's rocking in their school shoes?" to have fun guessing whose shoes the picture is! This is a great way to reinforce writing and reading names!
