More Info:

All 12 images are photographs of artifacts I bought in Sierra Leone, West Africa, when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer there and are in .png format and 300 dpi. That makes it easy to resize them if you want, and you can also print them out and they will look good.

The clip art images from Sierra Leone are:

♦ The African continent

♦ A basket

♦ A bracelet

♦ A doll in traditional dress

♦ An elephant

♦ A fan

♦ An agricultural fertility god figurine

♦ A mask

♦ A musical instrument

♦ Spoons

♦ A stool

♦ A winnowing tray

Besides the images, this African Studies resource also includes background information about each image, maps of Africa and Sierra Leone, and a picture of the flag of Sierra Leone. A table of contents and my easy to use terms of use for these images are provided, too.

Since I took all the photographs in this resource, you can use them for small business, personal, and classroom use without worrying about copyright issues.

Combined with the background information in the notes about the artifacts, these images are a great way to get your students interested in learning about Africa!
