Yee-haw and HOWDY! Your student buckaroos will love moseying on over to the the Word Work corral to round up some rhyming skills with this western-themed partner activity pack! The Boot Scoot game in this product can be played two ways ---as a "read and write the room" activity or as a "concentration-style" matching game. Both will build knowledge of cowboy vocabulary words, and help students make text connections to the variety of western-themed chapter and picture books you share about the topic.
These activities can be used as a whole group review or it can be used as partner practice during your literacy station rotation.
