Everything you need to target what, where, when, and who questions! – game boards, explanation sheets, flashcards, progress monitoring tools, worksheets, matching games, coloring pages, and question lists!! Many activities are NO PREP and INK SAVING black and white. Check out all the great tools:
1.) Question explanation pages – this informational page explains the type of answers that can be given to each kind of question It also gives strategies to help students answer the questions. There is one of these pages for each type of "wh" question.
2.) Question introduction worksheet – students answer questions about that type of question to get them thinking. There is one of these pages for each type of "wh" questions.
3.) 30 Flashcards + Progress Monitoring Tool – These cards contain a question with a picture prompt. The pictures does not tell the answer but is related to the question to provide a visual aid for the students. Each flashcard is numbered to correspond to a question on one of the three progress monitoring tools The progress monitoring tools are designed to be given with out visual aids. If the student struggles with a particular question, the flashcard can be presented to provide a visual cue. There are 30 Flashcards and three Progress Monitoring Tools for each type of "Wh" question - for a total of 120 flashcards and 12 progress monitoring tools.
4.) Matching Sheets– Have students draw a line from the question to the answer. There are two of these worksheets per "wh" question type.
5.) Coloring pages – Each page contains questions with picture choices for answers. The student can color in their answer. They could also mark them off with a bingo marker. There are two of these worksheets per "wh" question type.
6.) Worksheets – one multiple choice without pictures and one open ended answer for each type of "wh" question.
7.) Game board – add a dice and you can play a quick game designed to target a specific question type. There is one game board for each type of "wh" question.
8.) Question List – a simple list with all the questions used for your quick reference sorted by question type.
