This riddle booklet from Hanging Around in Primary is a great way to get your students communicating in math.
This resource will be useful with many of your math strands. Use it while teaching 2D/3D geometry. Students will write 3 clues about a shape, thinking about it's characteristics, and then have classmates try to guess. How about using it in number sense? Your students will give 3 clues about a given number and see if their classmates can guess.
I have included custom covers to use with a Geometry or Number riddle booklet. There is also a blank cover that you can use as you wish.
This product could be used as a follow-up to a whole group lesson, as part of Daily math or BUILD centers for communication.
