Research Based Interactive Personality Survey used to determine student character and personality to assist in classroom instruction.
As a teacher it is important to differentiate groups based from different criteria. I differentiate groups by readiness (knowledge level), Modality (Learning Style) and Personality. This is one survey I have students complete on day 1 that provides insight into their personality and character. Students really enjoy finding what Avengers character they are most like.
My other survey for learning styles can be found here:
What Kind of Learner are you? Learning Modalities Survey
Additional Character Versions listed below:
What Pokemon Are You? Interactive Personality Survey
What Spongebob Character Are You? Interactive Personality Survey
What Winnie the Pooh Character Are You? Interactive Personality Survey
Which Big Bang Theory Character Are You? Interactive Personality Survey
Activity includes 6 questions in which students rank importance from 1 to 4. Then students will total each column to find the highest total. The highest total group will be the students dominant personality. I have the students take the survey and then project the character chart and read through the characteristics. *You can choose to take out the reluctance portion for younger students. Vocabulary can also be changed to accommodate low reading levels.
Some suggestions for teachers: Iron Man's are the energetic and usually are your most difficult personalities to deal with. I would recommend separating Iron Man's whenever possible and try your best not to group them together. Captain America's are usually your overachieving type and will usually become the leaders or "teachers" of the group. The Hulk's are often quiet and can lack confidence. The Hulk's and Thor's make great teams with qualities that compliment each other.
