Description

Do you need engaging, standards-based interactive read aloud lessons that build your students' reading comprehension skills and strategies? These lessons and activities will teach comprehension, vocabulary, speaking and listening skills, and more in a meaningful and fun way.

Interactive read aloud lessons for the books What Can a Citizen Do? and Be An Active Citizen at Your School. Just print and teach! This interactive read aloud is designed to cover five days. This resource contains one week of lessons that are also included in the monthly bundle.

Read alouds allow us to teach a broad range of standards. You will find that each read aloud will cover many standards, but will focus more heavily on a specific one. This will be the standard assessed at the end of the week to provide evidence of mastery for that standard.

In this resource, students will learn how to ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in an informational text.

DIGITAL GOOGLE SLIDES TM version available here!
