This is an original story written and illustrated by me. It's about a Kindergartener who discovers he is colorblind. He doesn't understand because everything looks "normal" to him and he's not sure what he's missing. He gets teased and taunted by the kids in his class but then discovers his own special talent.
This book is a wonderful example of stepping back and seeing outside yourself and trying to sympathize with others. By embracing differences, we can see how many people can look at the same object and see it in their own way.
The illustrations are originally done in watercolor and collage. Accompanying activity packs are available for 2nd/3rd grade and will soon be available for PreK-1st grade.
