This pack is a twist between the famous song "What does the fox say?" and the story The Gingerbread Man.
Included in this pack:
Generic card template to make your own cards (Page 4)
A sheet of fox mats (Page 5)
Cards with upper and lower case alphabet letters (Pages 6-10)
Cards with numbers to 40 (Pages 10-13)
Cards with sight words (Pages 14-19)
Prep: Print the articulation playing cards on cardstock and laminate for durability. Print up enough Fox Game Cards (Page 5) for each student in the group on cardstock and laminate.
Directions: Place the cards face down. Students pick up a card practicing their letters, numbers and/or sight words. If they pick up a fox card, they get to put a chip/token on one of their foxes. The first student to collect all the foxes wins!
Option #2: Use the stimulus cards and have each student pick a card from the deck and practice their learning target. If their card has a fox on it, they get to say “yum, yum, yum, yum, yum” because it ate the gingerbread man. Kids will have fun anticipating the fox! Use with an intervention group or as a whole group lesson.
