PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Using a hands-on approach students create a situation where two walkers move along a number line at different rates. Students are challenged with determining if the two walkers will meet and at what time. Students create charts, tables, and graphs to represent each walker. Students learn what it means to be a point of intersections.

There are 10 tasks included in this packet. The tasks are written on large sheets that can be projected using a smartboard or a projector.

The graphing calculator is incorporated throughout the lesson.
