Product Description
This assignment provides students with a large set of data describing various conditions on planets (UV radiation levels, temp range, atmosphere contents, etc). Students need to deduce relationships from this data to eventually identify the requirements for life to exist on a planet.

This lesson spends a lot of time having students translate a massive set of data into usable graphs and charts to better locate trends and draw conclusions. There is also an attached reading that introduces a more recently discovered planet and has students determine if it could sustain life or not.
