What Does the Fox Say? He says to practice your basic math facts! Included in this packet are two Roll and Cover Games -- one for addition and one for subtraction, along with a recording sheet for each game. In the addition game, students roll two dice, add them together, record the equation on their sheet and cover the corresponding number on the game board. In the subtraction game, students roll one die to get a number, and then roll a second die to determine the number to subtract from the first number. They record the equation on their recording sheet and then cover the corresponding number on the game board. The first student to cover all the numbers on their game board is the winner. Great for math centers! Included, also, is a Wrap Around game that is played whole class; there are enough cards for 21 students (and a few blanks to add cards). The students with the fox are the first and last player. Students read their card and the student with the answer states that they have (that card) and then s/he reads his/her card and play continues around the room until all cards have been read!
