What educators are saying

A nice activity to practice beginning sounds and use critical- thinking to identify the one that doesn’t belong.
The colors on these cards are bright and engaging. I printed them on cardstock, laminated and added them to my task boxes. Thank you!

Children will practice letter sounds (phonological awareness) with this set of 26 cards - one card for every letter of the alphabet. Children will look at the cards and find the one that doesn't belong in the group. On each card, there is one letter with 2 pictures that have the same letter sound. One picture on the card is the "wrong" letter sound. Children will mark the picture that does not belong.

Use with a manipulative, such as bingo chips, Unifix cubes, or flat marbles (something to cover the picture on the card).

I teach Pre-K and design all of my activities with Pre-K students in mind.
