These rhyming holiday trees are the perfect fall activity to add to your therapy room or classroom! These can be used individually or in groups/centers.
Included are 30 colorful trees each containing two rhyming words and one word that does not rhyme. In addition, the same trees are included as black line images. These are fun to print on colored paper!
Also included are two worksheets and two answer keys!
Students practice identifying which two words rhyme or which word doesn’t rhyme. Have the students read each word and identify which word doesn’t rhyme and indicate their choice by attaching a clothes pin on their answer. If you have laminated, students can also circle their choice with a dry erase marker. Any type of marker such as bingo chips or counting bears could also be used. If in groups or centers students can easily check each other’s work. You could even take this skill one step further and after students have identified what doesn’t rhyme they can produce additional rhyming words.
I recommend printing these on cardstock and laminating so that way you can use them for many years to come.
