Summary of Task: I the teacher have created the title and plot. The students create the jobs for the characters based on the analysis given of each person involved in the share and pair group strategy used in this R.A.F.T . (Role-Audience- Format- Topic) strategy. They create the jobs needed for the characters to solve the case. Or they use their own job ideas they would use to solve the case. This helps social interaction, career awareness, problem solving, independence, and, judgment under a language arts umbrella for theme and purpose leading to a conclusion where the group has to explain with sound facts and web search how they came to their decision as to what happened.
Objective: They will use teacher chosen websites to assist with finding their ideas for jobs, clues, and social interaction amongst each other to solve the case. Jobs, clues and choices must be realistic and make sense as well as be creative.
Resolution /Conclusion: The most creative idea with the correct determining factors as to what happened to D.J. Slim is the deciding resolution as to what happened. It is then that group will do a reenactment of what happened using all the details used to decide the final outcome.
