Description
Did you have an exciting break? Could it have been even more fantastical?!
On the first postcard, write 1-3 sentences about something you did NOT do during this break. On the next two postcards, write 1-3 sentences about something you DID do on this break. Sign your name on each card. Cut out all of the cards, and add an illustration to the back of each.
Once your cards are complete, share them with your classmates. Can they pick out which postcard is the fake? Have them stamp the fake card in the address area. How many classmates did you trick?
Ideal for back-to-school, but can also be used after any break (generic theme included). Can also be used to contrast fiction/non-fiction or target letter writing skills.
