This is always a classroom favorite when we are talking about Personal Development in class. I hand out the slip of paper with 10 things listed along with a blank sheet of paper. I think have the students create a list of what is most important to least important to them using the list provided.
1= Most Important
10= Least Important
Once they have completed this I tell them to disucss with their table. I then ask each table to configure a list of what they see as a group as most important to least important. During this group time they figure out quickly that they value different things compared to their peers.
After they discuss with their groups I write the list on the board and we discuss their results. It always leads to good group conversations because they have to justify why they value certain things over others.
