What Number am I?
I am happy to share this fun number sense activity with you. This activity is used to help your students with number sense and show math connections. I do this in the morning as a math warm-up, but you can use it in other ways. It can be used as mini-lesson, a small group lesson, or a Daily 5 station activity. I place the Clue Cards in a glass fishbowl. I have students come up and read the clues. We discuss and make guesses. Sometimes it takes a couple of days to figure out the number. Then I place the activity cards in my math station so that students can complete them in a small group. This is C-Scope aligned.
28 Clue Cards - the clues deal with odd/evens, number of digits, skip counting, comparing numbers, coins, number of sides on a shape and even homophones
4 Activity Cards - expanded notation, base 10 blocks, coins and comparing numbers
Blank Cards - for you to make up your own clues and activities
A Title Sign and Number Revealing Sign
I hope you enjoy!
