This activity is designed to help preschool students answer What question forms. I have found that the presentation of the questions in this format is successful with non-verbal children, too. The adult reads the question on the question card and the child is able to use the small picture cue to aid in their understanding. I have also included a set of question cards without visual cues for the students ready for the auditory comprehension challenge. I will often present 2-3 answer choice pictures cards to truly gage the child’s ability to understand and answer the question. The child is able to choose an answer card and place it on the yellow shaded area of the corresponding question card.
