Does your learner need to master the short vowel sounds for reading and spelling?

Inspired by a technology-wiz client with dyslexia, this powerpoint uses "invisible buttons" to function like an app. Paired with tastefully engaging sound effects, high quality audio of short vowel sounds, and motivating funny pictures to provide random reinforcement. Created without a "kiddy" aesthetic to be more palatable for older learners with dyslexia. Useful for 1:1 literacy intervention, literacy centers, or to send home as engaging homework in between sessions!

To use:
1. Have the learner click on the "sound" button on each slide to hear a phoneme. Click again to hear as many times as needed before making a selection.

2. Match the sound to one of two available letters.

3. If correct, the vowel-sound pair is reinforced by playing automatically before progressing to the next trial. If incorrect, the learner is prompted to try again.

Each short vowel sound is included 3x with a randomly assigned vowel pairing for a 15 trial quick drill session.

I hope your students have as much fun with this product as mine!
