Product Description
This social skills story for all ages focuses on appropriate behaviors for students to have when they arrive at school. This product contains 2 social skills stories; one for arrival at school by car and one for arrival by bus. You can pick which pages you need for your student(s).This product can be used alone or with its matching visual schedule pieces.
Directions and Use:
Print and laminate.
Bind with your preferred method. I use a spiral binding machine, so the left hand margin is slightly larger to allow for the binding without interfering with the story or illustrations.

Use of Social Stories
This story and the accompanying visual schedule pieces and Arrival at school poster set can be used in tandem or separately. You will find the steps poster and visuals also in my TPT store.
Prior to implementation of a new social story, be sure to communicate the new task being taught to all the people involved in your student’s program. Provide a copy or share the steps of the task being taught in the story to those professionals working with the targeted student so everyone is approaching the task in the same manner.
Introduce the book to the student as you would other literary selections (i.e. look at the cover, discuss it, look at the pictures. Adapt as necessary for your student.
