20x24 Black and Pink Poster
This Exit Slip Sign is a jpeg. file and should be printed/developed as a 20x24 photo/poster. (I have found Sam's Club to be the least expensive to print). This poster will hold (24) 3x3 sticky notes. Each box is numbered and to be assigned to students so at a quick glance you can see who has responded.

Exit slips are great because they only take a few minutes and it’s a quick, easy way to check for student progress. The slips allow students to express what or how they are thinking about new information and teach students to think critically.

The Exit Slip strategy is used to help students process new concepts, reflect on information learned, and express their thoughts about new information.
The exit slips are a prompt/question given by the teacher and is an easy way to incorporate writing into content areas.

Possible prompts: write one thing you learned today, how can you relate the new information to the real world, one question you still have, I would like to learn more about, I didn’t understand, one thing that worked well in my group today.
These slips hold students accountable and push them to think about their own cognition.
