This activity includes:

-5 pages of scenarios where a certain character must decide how to respond in a given situation with an empty box at the bottom of each page. For older or higher functioning students, the response can be written in the box. There are also 5 boxes with written choices provided for younger students or those who benefit from written cues. These choices can be cut out and glued/taped in the box below each character. *Please note that these situations depicted are targeting basic social responses (ex. responding to a compliment, showing sympathy, etc.).

-24 cards for a matching activity. There are two pages of questions/comments, and two pages with appropriate responses. Cut out all of the questions/comments and put them in rows, facing up. Cut out all of the response cards and put them into a pile or rows, facing down. The student turns over one response card at a time and is expected to match it with the corresponding question/comment. For higher level/older groups, you could make multiple copies of the cards and the student that matches all of their cards first is the winner.

-One page of questions for discussion.
