What educators are saying

It is a great resource. The pictures, videos, and text were interspersed evenly enough to keep the students engaged. Along with interactive slides too! We all enjoyed this one, thank you!
I used this with my private lesson students who are singing this song. It was a great supplemental activity for them!

Description

Looking for an easy and fun jazz lesson for your elementary music class? In this Google Slides activity, students will learn about the song What a Wonderful World, played by Louis Armstrong. It works for distance learning, is perfect for Black History Month in February, Jazz Month in April, or anytime! This is ideal for 2 grade and 3 grade music classes.

In this Google Slides activity, students will learn about the iconic piece What a Wonderful World. There are 15 slides in which students will learn about the song, learn about Louis, listen to the song via an imbedded Youtube video, learn about the instruments of jazz, put the lyrics of the song in order, and imagine what a perfect world would look like.

This would go perfectly with my PRINTABLE What a Wonderful World lesson. Get it here!
