Product Description
"What are the Students Doing?" is an adaptive book that provides guided practice for receptive and expressive language. The present progressive tense is modeled for the child each page (ex. "Is Chris eating?") and they respond after peeking behind the polka dot door (ex. "Yes, he is eating!"). Also, it is good practice for negation - "No, he is not eating." Facilitators have the opportunity to ask, "What IS s/he doing?" following a negative declaration. Encourage literacy by pointing to each word as you read!
