As a teacher it is often times hard to keep track of the work that students miss when they are absent. I have created a "What did I miss" binder where I keep track of the activities that we do each day. When students return to school after an absence, they know exactly where to go to find out what they have missed. I also keep a copy of any worksheets or handouts they might need to complete absent work in the same folder by using dividers that have each letter of the alphabet. I put their name on their paper and file it under the first letter of their last name.
Using this "What did I miss" folder has saved me so much time! And it helps the students be a little more responsible for their school work too. Hope it is able to help you!
