As a retired philosophy teacher, I’m convinced there is nothing more important for your students to learn, if they’re going to be ready for the new Common Core standards, than the difference between strong and weak evidence.
Because of Common Core’s emphasis on writing and critical thinking, students must understand how to construct arguments with sturdy evidence.
