I created this resource as a fun and simple way to teach my students their speech and language goals, but also to explain why only some students come to speech and language therapy. This student-centered book explains that we all have strengths in addition to the areas we might need more help. In addition, the book reviews speech and language therapy, student goals, student strengths, asking for breaks, expectations, and the importance of practice and carryover.
This resource includes two versions of the student-centered book with colored and black and white pictures. My students love to color in the black and white pictures. Each resource also includes alternate pages for private/clinic-based speech and language therapy and classroom-specific rules and break choices.
