It’s inevitable. We all encounter stress throughout our lives. Stress is not always a bad
thing. It can be a motivating factor for students to study for a test. But when it is not
handled correctly, adapted to or coped with, it can mean debilitating results for our students. In CBT fashion, I like to start with the psychoeducation components, or the teaching about (sort of an introduction) to clear up any misconceptions, to answer questions and to normalize the subject. This lesson discusses both the emotional and the physical components of stress. The 3 stages of stress are introduced. Includes a page for your student to circle his own responses to stress and also a True/False comprehension check.
