Do your students often miss problems simply because they did not read the question correctly or did not read the question at all? Students become better problem solvers when they can identify and write the question based on the given solution and problem information.
These activities are geared to ensure that students generate the appropriate question given a specific answer based on only the problem information. This can be done whole group, small group and individually. It is recommended that it be modeled first with a simpler problem and then move to more complex problems.
Great for daily practice or test review!
