Answer key and teacher's guide to the free worksheet available at: https://www.biologycorner.com/worksheets/cladogram_animals.html

Students are walked through the process of creating a cladogram by examining five animals: frog, fish, bird, koala, and lizard. The complete a chart which examines which traits the animals share and which traits are unique. Then students finish a partially constructed cladogram. Their final task is to develop their own cladogram where they choose the type of organisms they want to examine.

Student worksheet is included here as a convenience, but you can access it for free at www.biologycorner.com
