Product Description
This presentation explains how myths were developed by the Ancient Greeks. It also emphasizes the classic Myth Elements in every myth. There is also a "Guess the Myth" section illustrating pictures of some very famous Greek/Roman myths. (I use this lesson after my students have read several myths in class. Look for these myths on my website, I have included them for your convenience....complete with comprehension quizzes.)

The 2nd part explains the stipulations that I put in place for my students to write their own myths. ( I used an online storybook writer - like StoryJumper to show off their work) My 6th grade students LOVED this activity and the myths that they produced were excellent!
