Anchor Charts For Focus Wall- I have supplied you with printable mini posters for the following: Main Idea, Accuracy, Nouns, Short A, Constants N D P F, Classify and Categorize, Spelling/High Frequency Cards, and Vocabulary word cards.
Roll a Spelling Word- You will need a dice for this activity. Students will roll to find out what spelling word to write. They keep going until all squares are filled.
Color Me By Words to Know/ Spelling Words- This is a coloring activity to practice the high frequency words and spelling words of the week.
Vocab Flash Cards- Student practice the vocab words of the week by drawing pictures of the different vocab words.
Categorize Actions- Students will practice categorizing action words.
Noun Web of Friends- This is a fun simple way to introduce nouns by showing them that their friends are nouns.
Summary in Pictures- This is a great way to introduce summarizing a story. This page can be used with any book. Instead of summarizing in written words they do it in pictures. When they are done I like to have them explain to the partner what happened in the story with pictures there to help them.
Main Idea Pal Craft- This is an adorable craft to practice main idea.
Noun Flip-Flap- Print these pages front to back. Students will fill it out accordingly.
What is a Pal? Tri-Fold- Print these sheets front to back. Students fold it like a brochure. Fill it out about the week’s selection
Spelling and High Frequency Practice- Students will read, trace, write, and rainbow write the high frequency words and spelling words.
