This activity is geared towards middle to high school students. Students are introduced to science and pseudoscience through several activities. The activities are teacher led, collaborative and individual.
Activities in this set include:
A bell ringer that asks students feelings on what turns out to be a hoax
Teacher led cornell notes with breaks for students to collaborate with peers as reinforcement.
A sort activity in which groups collaboratively discuss what is science and what is not science
A reading comprehension activity that students work on individually to reinforce science and pseudoscience
A homework assignment to assess student knowledge.
