Product Description

Are you looking for some motivating ways to engage your students in meaningful activities that promote language skills? If so, you may want to try these fall themed describing activities. Students search for differences while comparing similar fall scenes. When describing the differences, students are required to use specific language including: possessives, location concepts, pronouns, seasonal relevant vocabulary, quantitative concepts and more!

What you get:
10 colored scenes that have at least 10 differences
10 lined versions of same scenes
answer key for each scene

By laminating the colored scenes, you can use them over and over again! Send home the black lined versions for students to practice and reinforce skills used during therapy sessions. You can also use the scenes on a tablet for a no print option.

These No Prep activities help to foster the following language skills:
Expressive Language - describing scenes, using vocabulary, concepts and word structures
Vocabulary - actions, animals, Halloween related, school related, nature, Thanksgiving related
Concepts - Spatial, sequential, quantitative, numbers, colors and size
Structural - Possessives, pronouns, negation, subject/verb agreement and plurals
Fluency - Maintaining fluency while describing a scene
Articulation Carryover - Using target sounds while describing a scene
Visual Perception - These scenes can also be used with students who are non-verbal. Students can identify differences by circling items on a worksheet or laminated version.
